Hub Branch

Grandmaster Steve
Gonzalez

8th Dan

Grandmaster Gonzalez started training with Master Heintz in the mid 1980s. He earned his 8th Dan in December 2016. He is one of the primary instructors at the TRMA Hub and former President and Vice President of the TRMA Board of Directors. Grandmaster Gonzalez is the director of the annual Pil Sung tournament.

Master Bryan
Siever

7th Dan

Master Siever began training with Master Heintz in the spring of 1993. He earned his 7th Dan in August of 2023. Master Siever is one of the primary instructors at the TRMA Hub, serves as a member of the Board and is a former President and a former Secretary of the TRMA Board.

Master Brad
Kramer

5th Dan

Master Kramer earned his 5th Dan in April of 2022. He is a primary instructor at the Hub branch and a member of the TRMA Board of Directors.

Mr. Lance Kinseth

Mr. Kinseth began training with Master Heintz in 1983 and has taught taekwondo at various branches and at the Hub. He has over 45 years experience in a variety of martial arts, with particular emphasis upon taekwondo, kumdo and jodo. He is the instructor for the Martial Spirit class that integrates a broad variety of martial arts.

Ms. Rochelle Douglass

4th Dan

Ms. Douglass began training in 2005 with Iowa Methodist Tae Kwon Do. Ms. Douglass earned her 4th Dan in June 2022 through TRMA. She is one of the primary instructors at the TRMA Hub, serves on the Board of Directors and is a former Vice-President of the TRMA Board.

Mr. Dave Nelson

4th Dan

Mr. Nelson started with Two Rivers Tae Kwon Do in August of 2010. He is currently a 4th Dan Black Belt, and teaches at the TRMA Hub branch.

Mr. John Hornback

3rd Dan

Mr. Hornback began training at Two Rivers Martial Arts in 2009 and is one of the primary instructors for the school's Black Belt Youth Group. Mr. Hornback is also the instructor of the school's Kobudo, Okinawan Weapons class and holds Black Belts in TaeKwonDo and Kobudo, Okinawan Weapons. Mr. Hornback is a past member of the TRMA Board of Directors.

Mr. Todd Dooley

2nd Dan

Mr. Dooley started training in February of 2010 at the SE Polk branch of Two Rivers Martial Arts and earned his 2nd Dan in 2017. He is currently the Primary Instructor for Saturday classes at the Hub Branch. He serves on the Board and is a former Secretary and former President of the TRMA Board.

Ms. Jennie Mitchell

2nd Dan

Ms. Mitchell earned her 2nd Dan in December 2022 and is a former member of the Board of Directors.

Carlisle Branch

Ms. Vickie Hornback

3rd Dan

Ms. Hornback began training at Two Rivers Martial Arts in 2009. She is currently one of the primary instructors at the school's Carlisle location. Ms. Hornback is also an instructor for the school's Black Belt Youth Group and holds Black Belts in TaeKwonDo and Kobudo, Okinawan Weapons. She is a former Secretary and former Vice-President of the TRMA Board of Directors.

Mr. Don McDonald

3rd Dan

Mr. McDonald earned his 3rd Dan in December 2022 and is a former member of the TRMA Board of Directors.

Clive/West Des Moines Branch

Master Jennifer Bailey

5th Dan

Master Bailey began training with Two Rivers in 2008 and earned her 5th Dan in April 2022. She is one of the primary instructors for the Clive/West Des Moines Branch, And is a former President, Vice-President, and Secretary of the TRMA Board.

Mr. Kendall Bailey

4th Dan

Mr. Bailey began training with Two Rivers in 2010 and earned his 4th Dan in June 2022. He is one of the primary instructors for the Clive/West Des Moines Branch and manages the information technology needs of TRMA. Mr. Bailey is also the current Treasurer of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Doug Whitehead

3rd Dan

Mr. Whitehead earned his third dan in October of 2023 and is the current President and a former Secretary and former Vice President of the Board of Directors.

Ms. Lori Whitehead

2nd Dan

Mrs. Whitehead started training in August 2014 with Two Rivers Martial Arts. She has earned her 2nd Dan and is one of the instructors at the Clive/West Des Moines Branch. In addition to teaching in Clive/West Des Moines, Mrs. Whitehead teaches a white belt prep class at the Hub prior to the test. She is a former Secretary of the TRMA Board of Directors and continues to serve on the Board.

Mr. Keller earned his 1st Dan in February of 2024 and is the current vice-president of the Board of Directors.

Indianola Branch

Master Netsch earned his 7th Dan in August 2023. He teaches at the Indianola and Winterset Branches. He is a former President and former Vice President of the TRMA Board of Directors.

Master Lucy Kingsbury

Master Anderson began training in December 2003 and earned his 5th Dan in June 2021. He is a former Secretary of the Board of Directors

Mr. Dale began training with Two Rivers in 2010 and earned his 4th Dan in December 2019. He is one of the primary instructors for the Waukee Branch, is the current Secretary of the Board and is a former President and Vice-President of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Ochiche began training with Two Rivers in 2012 and earned his 4th Dan in April 2022. He is one of the primary instructors for the Waukee Branch.

Grandmaster McBroom began training with Master Heintz in the early 1980s. He is one of the primary instructors at the Winterset Branch and a former President and former Vice President of the TRMA Board of Directors. He tested for 8th Dan in December 2016.
